Installation Steps;
(I have used my Nokia E66 phone to get screen shots of the installation.)
- First you should have an iNotes account on Greenhouse before you utilize Traveler. Follow these steps if you have not previously created an iNotes account:
- 1. Logon to the Greenhouse website
- (https://greenhouse.lotus.com)
- 2. From the black navigation bar at the top of the screen select
- My Account
- 3. Push the green button that says "Create My email account"
- From the device, browse to the Greenhouse Lotus Notes Traveler User Home Page (https://traveler.lotus.com/)
- When prompted, enter your Greenhouse login id and password (the same id and password you use when logging on to Greenhouse via the web)
- The Lotus Notes Traveler User Home Page will recognize that you are using a Nokia device. Click the Download the Client link which will download the Nokia client to your device.
- When the download is complete, you will be asked if you want to install IBM Lotus Notes Traveler. Choose Yes.
- Press Next on the Welcome screen.
- Enter your Greenhouse login id (the same id you use when logging on to Greenhouse via the web) Enter your Greenhouse password
- Enter the server name (traveler.lotus.com)
- Specify the Access Point you want to use (usually either a Wifi or wireless carrier)
- Press Advanced
- Change the Sync Protocol to HTTPS
- Press Done
- Press Next
- Choose which applications you want to synchronize to the device.
- Press Next
- When configuration is complete press Finish
Registration with the server begins immediately and mail, calendar, and contacts should begin to show up soon.
After configuring the mail client the mail box will be created in your Messaging folder.
In this process, if there is an error occurred while the installation is on process please update your phone software and try the installation again.
